Tell your member of Congress: Make buildings bird-safe

As many as a billion birds die each year by colliding with buildings, often because they didn't realize the sky and clouds before them were reflections from a thick pane of glass.

If passed, the bipartisan Bird-Safe Buildings Act (H.R. 919) will save millions of birds, by requiring new and retrofitted federal government buildings to use the best available technology. Send a message to your U.S. representative, asking her or him to support H.R.919 when it comes up for a vote in the months ahead.
