Say No to Mining Near the Boundary Waters

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area is a pristine and irreplaceable ecosystem, and America's most visited wilderness. Mining poses unacceptable risks to the health of this special place -- any pollution that enters the interconnected waters will be impossible to contain or remove. The public lands on the outskirts of the Boundary Waters are no place for sulfide-ore copper mining. I oppose any mining activity that stands to damage the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Sincerely,
