USFWS: Keep Wildlife Refuges a refuge for bees, too!

National wildlife refuges should be safe havens for wildlife -- including wild bees.

Yet on August 2, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service lifted an Obama-era ban on neonicotinoids -- the pesticides linked to a steep decline in bee populations.

Bee-killing pesticides shouldn't be allowed anywhere near these places of refuge for wildlife and biodiversity. We urge you to reconsider, for the safety and future of bees.
