Tell Your Senators To Return Dirty Denier Donations

If you're a politician who accepts their dirty denier cash, risk being painted as a climate killer. Reports indicate that even though Exxon knew about the real dangers of climate change for nearly 40 years, and could have acted to protect the lives and livelihoods of millions, they chose to embark on a climate denial scheme including funding climate denying politicians and think tanks to the tune of $30 million.

So the question you have to ask yourself is why would any politician want to be affiliated with a corporation who is under investigation for lying to the American people and putting our planet in peril? And yet, the fact is that the top Senate recipients of Exxon's dirty denier cash have not said anything about bringing climate deniers to justice -- not even the ones who received top marks from our friends at League of Conservation Voters.

All senators should distance themselves from Exxon's dangerous dishonesty. But six Democrats, who we're calling "The Exxon Bunch," particularly need to prove their leadership on climate and justice by doing one thing -- this holiday season they can Thanks-Give-It-Back to Exxon and show once and for all that climate denying cash has no place in our politics. Sign here and we'll deliver your message to every Senator, starting with the "Exxon Bunch."
